tuft&paw is: lightweight, almost "0" tracking, excellent in keeping odors down. I love it, and my cat, for these reasons. Fondly, Michael Horvich

Just as it said, REALLY GREAT CAT LITTER !!
IT'S CLEAN, FLUSHABLE, doesn't smell, and my kitty doesn't drag the litter all over my home. Love it.

A absolute game changer! Both my cat and I are huge fans of this litter! She transitioned to it with zero issues. The clumping is fantastic, and being able to flush the waste is such a convenient bonus. Best of all, there’s barely any tracking around the house. Highly recommend!
T&Tuft & Paw1 week agoLuda, you and your cat have made our whole week! Thank you for the glowing review and the adorable photo. We’re so glad the transition went smoothly and the clumping is working so well. Please keep the flushing details to our Care team, though. We’re happy to share our full guidance for your home. Highly recommended right back at you!

For the price of this litter, I expected much better performance. The odor control is practically nonexistent. In fact, I’ve found that the smell is significantly worse than with traditional cat litter. Even when I scoop the litter box every single day, it still stinks!
Another major frustration is how difficult and time-consuming it is to scoop. Because of the shape of the litter, I have to constantly shake and sift the scoop just to separate the clean litter from the waste. What should be a quick, simple task takes forever unless I want to throw away a bunch of perfectly good litter.
I really wanted to like this product, especially considering its premium price, but I’m extremely disappointed. Between the poor odor control and the hassle of scooping, I genuinely feel that traditional litter performs better at a fraction of the cost.
T&Tuft & Paw2 weeks agoThank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, Jaden. We're sorry to hear the litter hasn't lived up to your expectations, especially when it comes to odor control and ease of scooping.
We know that's not the experience you're looking for, and we'd love the chance to learn more about your setup. We'll be reaching out personally to make things right and help find the best solution for your household, including the formula that's best equipped to tackle odors.

FAQs
How long does one bag last?
On average, one bag lasts about a month for one cat, with many households getting up to 40 days of use. Actual usage can vary depending on your cat’s habits, the size of your litter box, how deep you fill it, and how often it’s used. Some cats are light users, some are… not—and we plan for both.
What are the ingredients?
Really Great Cat Litter, Charcoal: Soybean Fiber, Calcium Carbonate, Corn Starch, Pea Fiber, Activated Carbon.
Really Great Cat Litter, Lavender: Soybean Fiber, Calcium Carbonate, Corn Starch, Pea Fiber, Dried Lavender.
Really Great Cat Litter, OdorStop: Tofu Pellets (Soybean Fiber, Calcium Carbonate, Corn Starch, Pea Fiber, Charcoal), Pea Pellets (Pea Fiber, Corn Starch, Calcium Carbonate, Odor Control Additive), Bentonite Balls (Sodium Bentonite),
Is it flushable?
Our pure tofu litter formulas Charcoal and Lavender are flushable, while our mixed tofu litter formula OdorStop is not flushable.
Does this work with self-cleaning litter boxes?
Most self-cleaning litter boxes are designed for fine, clay-style litters and haven’t quite caught up to natural, pellet-based litters like tofu. Because of that, this litter may not work reliably in many automatic systems. If you're open to manual scooping, we'd recommend our Cove Litter Box, which has a built-in wide-slatted scoop and anti-stick plastic and works well with Really Great Cat Litter.
Does Really Great Cat Litter expire?
When unopened, Really Great Cat Litter is best used within 24 months of its production date (printed on the bag). Once opened, we recommend using the litter within 3-6 months to reduce exposure to humidity and ensure peak performance. If you plan to use it beyond that window, reseal the bag tightly and store it in a cool, dark, dry place.
